Our dogs have always been "second hand" doggies. I found Buster, our current doggie, in the museum parking lot where I work, running around in circles one morning, looking for his owner. Someone just dropped him off, poor thing. The doggie we had at the time was a child of a divorce and very timid. She passed away last year, at only (about) 8 years old. We're not sure because the people who we got her from didn't pay any attention to her, and left her in a concrete garage... She came home with us at about 1 years old {:-D storybeaderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02401051545867204851noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-806686507038523712.post-68101407271142299002013-02-04T10:49:25.957-05:002013-02-04T10:49:25.957-05:00Thanks for sharing this beautiful story! Thanks for sharing this beautiful story!Craftymoose Craftshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02791008130982382299noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-806686507038523712.post-30870013826479360352013-02-04T10:13:58.686-05:002013-02-04T10:13:58.686-05:00What a sweetie, getting her first bath -- she look...What a sweetie, getting her first bath -- she looks so trusting. In fact, my entire life, all but one cat or dog was either adopted from a shelter or picked up for free from someone who couldn't provide the critter a home. The one purchased pet was a Persian cat and caused my dad to forbid house cats for the next 20 years! After that, until my sister pitched a fit about her old Siamese, pets were outdoors (and barn) only. It's a good thing we live in the South! Adopted pets are so much better. I swear they remember their lives before.Natashalhhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08176159532063740139noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-806686507038523712.post-45975643960678824772013-02-04T07:58:41.862-05:002013-02-04T07:58:41.862-05:00What a sweet story, I am loving those puppy eyes o...What a sweet story, I am loving those puppy eyes on the bath time pictures.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14294770208831269936noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-806686507038523712.post-88399077084936826102013-02-04T06:58:54.554-05:002013-02-04T06:58:54.554-05:00What a beautiful, heartwarming story on this cold ...What a beautiful, heartwarming story on this cold winter day.
