I am a bit over due showing you all the bead swap I got from Mary for Lori Anderson's Fall/Winter Pantone Bead Soup. Oh man, isn't it the best when you get a little surprise in the mailbox? Something picked out just for you, and it turns out to be exactly the thing you would have picked yourself? Just look at these gorgeous beads!
I absolutely love the colors and can't wait to use them. I've got a few ideas floating around that I will hopefully be back to show you before too long.
I also sent Mary a few things from my collection. I tried to send a range of colors with fun focal beads. I picked up these beads literally from around the world. I LOVE shopping for beads, much to my hubby's chagrin. I've been on a very strict bead diet lately, sadly for me. But this stash I sent Mary hails from my UK trip, the jaunt down to NZ to see my sister, several trips over to Rhode Island, a trip out to California, a few beads I shared from gorgeous hand-made enamels sent to me from Keri over at Pink Lemonade (South Carolina) and then of course the many trips around Manhattan where I work. I hope she likes them!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful beads! I'm looking forward to seeing what wonders of gorgeousness you make with these.
A thought just struck me. Don't you just sometimes wish you were in a big pile of glorious beads, where you can pick up handfuls and pour them over your head? Wouldn't that be awesome?
