Focusing on Life :: In Motion
I had a hard time with this prompt for some reason. Partly because I didn't get a chance to take the picture for the prompt over the weekend, and needed to do it during the week. Therefore I only had my iPhone with me. And as efficient as it is ... it is auto-focus. Thus it is hard to get something 'in motion.'
Nonetheless, I decided I wanted to try to include a shot of the many NY Taxis that drive people from place to place around town. They are always there, and always in motion. And just for a little fun, and since my iPhone can take videos, I took one in the elevator as I rode it back up to my office. Enjoy the ride!
What--no people coughing or talking loud in the elevator?! What a cool idea using your video phone to capture motion!
ReplyDeleteWhen I was a young girl our family took a trip to New York and I remember the sea of yellow taxis always going here and there, and always in a hurry.
For some reason this post makes me think of the song "Move It, Move It", silly of me I know.
ReplyDeleteMy pictures aren't really moving either.... But yellow cabs in NYC really do move, although I walked or took the subway when I was there!

Whenever I think of yellow cabs, I always think of New York. I visited New York many years ago and still remember the tons of yellow cabs on the streets.

ReplyDeleteLOL, the one time I was in NY, I had to ride in taxi's a few times and I think if I had to live there, I would walk. They scared the life out of me....but love the elevator shot, looks like you work in a cool office!
ReplyDeleteVery appropriate! Cool idea videoing the elevator ride. It is fantastic how everything is glass. Elevators make me claustrophobic but this would not bother me.
ReplyDeleteThe yellow cab is surely a perfect capture of motion! Aah, love your elevator - I usually don't like them too much (just a tad claustrophobic) but a glass one, that's perfect :)
