I've been working on a pattern called Spring Thaw created by Christine of OneKissCreations that I seem to be slightly obsessed with at the moment. I've made three of these back to back for some reason. I sit down and bead it start to finish in an evening.
They really do feel lovely around the wrist, and so I'm trying to decide if I will 'love it, or list it' (for those of you who enjoy the HGTV show!). While I decide, I think I'll put it on and head out to the garden and snap pictures of the flowers. If you follow me on instagram you'll find them over there.
Ha ha love or list it? Tough decision!! Xavi loves it when we watch that show as a family.

ReplyDeleteLove it!! Don't list it! lol Maybe list a couple and keep one for yourself!
ReplyDeleteYou finished those in one evening! Wow...
ReplyDeleteSince you made three, you could wear one and list the other two!
My peonies are just opening their petals. Yay :)
I love that bracelet. I can see why you've done three! After 15 days of measurable rain we now have cold (for May). But, my iris are blooming and the peonies are too. Even with rain and chill it's still a most beautiful time of the year! Enjoy your garden!
ReplyDeleteThe pattern is beautiful. These are so perfect for dressing up or down. Isn't it wonderful seeing you favorite flowers bloom for the first time each year? Peonies are so neat in all their phases from the bud to flower.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bracelet - and I am sure it feels perfect on the wrist! It has been wet and chilly in Northern Virginia - actually donned a coat to go to church this morning! Send Spring down here please! :)
ReplyDeletePS - Love It or List It - one of my favorite HGTV shows!
Beautiful Cynthia Christine has a way with beads and making patterns that are a breeze to make. I say love it and list it so someone else can love it too.

I think iris are very stately but my favorites are the peonies, too, especially when they are all full and droopy.
ReplyDeleteI am intrigued with your, or Christine's, pattern here and I love the way you photograph your work, is there fabric involved or is it all beads? I really need to touch and hold it!
Happy Spring, we're actually still waiting ~
Beautiful!! Love!!! I did some weeding today! Our flowers are late this year, because it has been a cold spring!
ReplyDeleteI do hope you decided to 'Love It' since you wear so little of what you make. I always like your dark color choices for Spring Thaw. They become a bit moody and very elegant that way.
